Film Screening: Goodnight Brooklyn: The Story of Death By Audio
'Goodnight Brooklyn: The Story of Death by Audio', is an incredible, must-watch film about the legacy and unfortunate demise of Death By Audio. Their warehouse space in Williamsburg, New York, operated primarily as a work space for artists and musicians and functioned as a recording studio, effects pedal factory, art and music venue.
"I ALWAYS FELT LIKE I WAS AT THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING AT DBA. I NEVER FELT LIKE I WAS AT THE END. I STILL DON’T."
The film reminded us of the amazing spaces and people here at Scott Hall Mills and across our city, and to make the most of our own spaces whilst we have them. We felt compelled to screen it and host a great post-film discussion around arts venues.
